Hockey world cup 2010 – day 6

First match of the day was between probably Asian last hope Korea vs. New Zealand but the way game went it was bit like hopes shattered as Korea was 2-0 down in the first half in the second half Korea tried their heart out to level but they could only manage to score 1 goal in reply match ending with a score line of 2-1 in favor of New Zealand.

Second match was between minnows Canada vs. mighty Nederland’s and the result was on the expected lines though first half of the match went goalless and it was the second half of the match which saw as many as 6 goals scored by Nederland’s score line after the match 6-0 in favor of Nederland’s.

Last match of the day was a thriller between the reigning champion Germany vs. Argentine both teams were equal in every department but it was Germany’s experience in the end which resulted in the 4-3 victory for them .
